Per ACEN Policy #14, the ACEN Board of Commissioners (BOC) may approve a substantive change and require the program to submit a report on the status of the implementation of the change (Implementation Report).

The BOC may require an Implementation Report at its discretion. If required, the due date for submission will be specified in the substantive change decision letter.

The purpose of an Implementation Report is to provide ACEN with documentation regarding the status of the substantive change implementation process. The report is used to evaluate the impact of the substantive change on students and the program's continued compliance with ACEN Standards and Criteria.

Programs required to submit an Implementation Report must use the ACEN Implementation Report Template. Appendices or supporting documentation are not required but may be included, when applicable, to provide additional clarification or evidence.
