Commission staff will not speculate on what decision might be made by the ACEN Board of Commissioners the next time a transition-to-practice program is reviewed. **Accreditation: **<span style="color: #333333">A voluntary, peer-review, self-regulatory process by which non-governmental associations recognize educational institutions or transition-to-practice programs that have been found to meet or exceed standards and criteria for quality.</span>

**Accreditation, Contingent: **<span style="color: #333333">An accreditation status in which the transition-to-practice program meets most, but not all, of the established standards and criteria for quality.</span>
