## Training guide to support users accessing resources in the ACEN Resource Center

The ACEN Resource Center contains resources to help ACEN accredited programs and Candidates prepare for site visits as well as perform actions related to maintaining ACEN accreditation between review cycles. Follow the instructions below to learn how to access and search the ACEN Resource Center.

## Access

- Visit [https://resources.acenursing.org/](https://resources.acenursing.org/)
- Choose the resource/topic based on need from the navigation or scroll down to view available resources

- Once on a resource/topic page, resources are grouped by sections or categories. All articles can be browsed, or a search can be done.

- If searching for a specific resource, use the search bar to type in keywords. Suggested articles will display, to narrow the search results, select page to filter by.

## Best Practices for Searching 

The search feature in the ACEN Resource Center includes resource titles and summaries as part of the search parameters. Follow the best practices below to locate the resources efficiently: 


- Use the resource name in the search, this will narrow down the results.
- Navigate to a category (2017 Accreditation Manual, 2023 Program Guidelines, 2023 Download Library, etc.) and use the search function at the top of the page. Searching from a specific category landing page will narrow results to that section.
